Attendee Roles & Status

Every attendee in EventX has a status that tracks their registration progress, event attendance, and role-based permissions. Understanding these statuses is essential for managing approvals, special roles (Hosts, Speakers, Exhibitors), and attendee lifecycle actions like removal and blocking.

Common Questions

  • Why are my imported Hosts and Speakers showing as "Pending"? — Special role attendees must activate their role and complete the registration form before moving to Registered status. See Attendee Status.

  • Can I approve attendees in bulk? — Yes, filter waitlisted attendees by status, select all, and use the Approval Action to approve or reject in bulk. See Attendee Approval.

  • Do rejected paid attendees get automatically refunded? — No. Refunds must be handled manually through your payment processor. See Attendee Approval FAQs.
