# Join an event as Exhibitors / Booth Representatives

**When you are assigned as an exhibitor or booth representative, you will need to activate the role for editing your booth and/or network with attendees visiting your booth.**

**Note:** Booth representatives won't have access to editing the booth page.

\*\*Step 1:\*\*You will receive an invitation email containing the assigned role and the **Activate Role** button.

**Step 2:** To activate the role, click on **Activate Role**. Once clicked, you will be directed to the Log In page.\

**Step 3:** To create a password, click **Forgot Password**. To skip creating a password and directly proceed to the registration form, click **Email Me A Login Link.**\

1. By clicking **Forgot Password**
2. You will be directed to enter your email address and click **Send Verification Code**.\

3. By clicking Send Verification Code, you will receive an email containing the code as below.\

4. Enter the verification code, enter your new password and click **Reset Password**. Once succcessful, there will be a pop-up message on the top right corner of the screen and you will then be directed to the Log In page. Simply enter your new password and click **Log In**.\

5. By clicking **Email Me A Login Link**.
6. You will be directed to enter your email address and click **Send Login Link**.\

7. A login link that is valid for 15-minutes will be sent to the entered email address. Note that the 15-minute time window is the valid period of the link. It is not the period that the user can be within the event site.\

8. By clicking **Log in Now**, you will be directed to the registration form.
9. Once you have logged in, you will have to fill up the registration form prepared by the organizer. Once done, click **Register**.

\*\*Step 5:\*\*After activating the role and logging in to your EventX account, under the "Events" tab - Exhibiting, you will find the event you are exhibiting.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Q: What is the difference between a Booth Exhibitor and a Booth Representative?

**A:** Booth Exhibitors have access to edit the booth design and manage their booth page. Booth Representatives can network with attendees visiting the booth but do not have permission to edit the booth page itself.

### Q: What are the two ways to set up an account as an exhibitor?

**A:** You can either create a password by clicking "Forgot Password" and going through the verification code flow, or skip password creation entirely by clicking "Email Me A Login Link" to receive a 15-minute valid login link directly.

### Q: How do I access my booth after activating my exhibitor role?

**A:** After logging in, go to the "Events" tab and select "Exhibiting" to find your event. Click "Edit Design" to customize your booth, or "View Booth" to preview your booth design and visit the event site on the live event day.
