# People List

## Adding New Custom Fields

1. If an organizer would like to add a new custom field into the attendee list, it can be done by clicking on the **Manage Fields** button under the Attendee List. Please refer to [this article](https://help.eventx.io/portal/en/kb/articles/manage-field) for detailed steps on how to add a new custom field onto the Attendee List. ## Attendee Filtering

The steps to perform attendee filtering are as below.

1. In order to filter the attendees, click on the filter icon and there will be a popup.\

2. To add a certain criteria, click **Add Condition**.\

3. Select from the range of filters provided.\

   In-person Attendance
6. Virtual Attendance

20. Job Title
21. Organization

24. Custom fields created on both the registration form and attendee list

26. The filters are based on the AND logic.

## Search & Sort Attendees

### Searching An Attendee

1. Click on the search bar > Type the attendee details such as the name or email > Click Enter on your keyboard to search\

2. Items that can be searched via the search bar includes:
3. First name
4. Last name
5. Full name
6. Email address (Invited email address not secondary email address)
7. Job title
8. Organization
9. City
10. Country
11. To view the entire attendee list again, click on the filter icon, click **Clear all** and **Apply Filter**.\

### Sorting Attendees

1. Click on the sort icon.\

2. Select the sorting method.
3. The attendee list can be sorted by:
4. Date & Time Created
5. Name (based on alphabetical order)
6. Registered Time
7. Email
8. Ascending or Descending order\

## Column Management On Attendee List

1. Organizers can manage the columns that they would like to show on the attendee list. Firstly, click on the column icon.\

2. To exclude a column from the attendee list, simply toggle off the toggles highlighted in red. To reorder the column arrangement, just drag and drop the column to your desired location.\

## View Attendee Order Details

To view the order details of an attendee, click on the attendee profile icon and then **View All Orders**.\

### Remark

1. If the ticket purchaser has used a different email address to purchase tickets, the email address can be seen under **Purchaser Email**.\

## Edit Attendee Details

1. Under the attendee list page, Click on an attendee to open the Participant's Detail, then click edit.

## Removing Attendees

## Navigating An Attendee Profile

1. To ease navigation of an attendee profile across different team members for checking or viewing purposes, open the attendee profile for the respective attendee and share the URL. The recipient of the URL can then login to their EventX account and directly access the respective attendee profile on the People List.

## Bulk Update

1. Organizers can use the Bulk Update feature to update the existing attendee information by bulk. Please refer to [this article](https://help.eventx.io/portal/en/kb/articles/streamline-attendee-information-updates-with-bulk-update-feature) to view the detailed steps on how to bulk update the attendee list. ## Exporting Attendee List Report

1. In order to export either the attendee list report or check-in/out report, simply click on the Export button on the Attendee List. 11. **Note :** **Y** and **N** represents **Yes** and **No** respectively.

## Blocking Attendees

If the organizer would like to block an attendee that exisits within the attendee list, they can do so by following the steps below. Once an attendee is blocked, they will be unable to access the event site. Organizers can also block email addresses or domains by using the Blocklist feature as covered in [this article](https://help.eventx.io/portal/en/kb/articles/blocklist-function). To view the video recording on this feature, please refer to [this link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEs2Ef2xxn8).**Note:** Only attendees under Registered or Attended status can be blocked by the organizer.

1. Select the attendee that will be blocked > Click on the block icon > Click **Long Press To Block**\

2. Once the attendee is been blocked successfully, there will be an icon to indicate the block.\

3. On the attendee view, there will be a message that informs the attendee that they have been blocked from entering the event.\

4. To unblock an attendee, simply select the blocked attendee, click on the unblock icon and click **Long Press To Unblock**.\

## Use Case : Assigning A New Custom Field To The Attendees & Including It On The Check-in App

Please follow the steps below.

1. Create a new custom field on the attendee list by clicking on **Manage Fields**. Click **Add New Field** > Select field type > Input necessary details > Click **Save.**\

2. Click on **Bulk Update** > Follow the steps shown to download the attendee list > Update the newly created custom field by inputting the desired data into the corresponding column. The name of the new column will be similar to the custom field that was created. Once the information has been updated, upload the CSV file.\

3. The updated data will be reflected accordingly on the attendee list once the upload is successful.
4. To include the custom field onto the Check-in app, go to **In-person Check-in** > **Custom Line**. Drag and drop the created custom field into either Line 1 or Line 2.\

5. The custom field will now be shown under the attendee name on the Check-in App.\

   Once the attendee has been checked-in via QR Code scanning, the custom field will also be shown below the attendee name.\
