Kiosk Mode (Self Check-in)

Overview

Kiosk Mode allows attendees to check themselves in by scanning their QR code on a shared iPad — no staff needed. It is also available for attendees to look up their assigned table number.

Prerequisites

  • Whitelabel addon required — Kiosk Mode is only available with the Whitelabel addon.

  • Check-in App installed on an iPad (shared device).

  • Attendees must have their QR code ready (from their confirmation/reminder email).

Setup

  1. Open the Check-in App on the shared iPad.

  2. Go to Settings > Kiosk Mode.

  3. Toggle Kiosk Mode on.

  4. Configure the following options as needed:

    • Auto check-in — Attendees are checked in automatically when their QR code is scanned.

    • Table number lookup — Attendees can scan their QR code to view their assigned table number.

  5. Place the iPad in a stand at the event entrance, facing the attendee.

  • The Check-in App must remain open and on the Kiosk Mode screen for attendees to self-check-in.
