# Essential Plan Payment Terms and Conditions

## Objective

Understand payment, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms for the Essential Plan.

## Prerequisites

* Active **Essential Plan** subscription.
* Access to **Billing Page** in the Organizer Portal.

## Deemed Renewal (Auto-Renewal)

* Review your contract end date on the **Billing Page**.
* Understand contract auto-renews for the **same period** (monthly or annually) if no official termination on or before the end date.
* Expect direct billing by **EventX** via **Stripe** on renewal.
* Check **Auto-Renewal** status on the **Billing Page** — Stripe handles the recurring charge.
* Enable or disable **Auto-Renewal** via **Stripe** settings linked from the **Billing Page** as needed.

## How to Stop Renewal

* Go to **Organizer Portal** > **Billing Page**.
* Locate your active **Essential Plan** subscription.
* Toggle off **Auto-Renewal** or click **Stop Renewal**.
* Confirm cancellation before the contract end date.
* Verify renewal status shows **Cancelled** — no charge applies for the next billing cycle (monthly or annually).

## Refund Policy

* Note all payments are **non-refundable**.
* Submit billing disputes to <finance@eventx.io> for review — no refund is guaranteed.

## Notes

* Failure to terminate on or before the contract end date constitutes acceptance of renewal and authorizes EventX to charge the next period via Stripe.
