## How to install Wechat for New users

### **For iOS & Android Devices**

**To Install and Setup a WeChat Account:**

1. Open the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) > Search “WeChat” > Install WeChat
2. Once the download is complete, open the WeChat App > Click Sign Up
3. Enter your Region > Enter Mobile Number > Set a Password
4. Tick the Terms and conditions
5. Click Accept and continue
6. Scroll down to look through the WeChat policy > Tap the check box which says “I have read and agree to the above terms”
7. Click Next > Click Start
8. Once you see an image, simply drag the slider to fit the puzzle piece
9. WeChat will then send a verification code via SMS to the mobile number that has been input at the start. Once received, enter the code and click Submit.
10. Enter your Full Name and add a profile picture (optional) > Click Next
11. Click OK to allow WeChat to access your contacts & show you which of them are already on WeChat

**To Access Your QR Code:**

1. Click **“Me**” on the bottom right corner of your screen > Click onto your name to access your profile > Select “My QR Code” > Select “Save Image”
2. Share your QR Code to your project manager and you will be added into the WeChat group.

## For Windows Devices

**To Install a WeChat Account:**

1. Click the Start button > Click “Microsoft Store” > Search “WeChat” > Select WeChat > Click Install

2. Open the Wechat App on desktop > Scan the QR Code using your WeChat Mobile App to log into your WeChat Account.
