# Book an Appointment

Schedule a time slot with an attendee's representative.

## Prerequisites

* Receive a **booking link** from another attendee or event organizer (e.g., `meetup.eventx.io/appointment/{attendeeId}`)

## Steps

**Step 1:** Open the booking link in your browser.

**Step 2:** Select a representative from the list. If only one rep exists, you skip this step.

**Step 3:** Pick a date from the calendar. Available dates are highlighted.

**Step 4:** Choose a time slot from the available options on the selected date.

**Step 5:** Fill in the booking form:

* Enter your **first name**, **last name**, **email**, and **company** (required)
* Select a **meeting method** — **Onsite** or **Online** (if the event requires it)
* Add **notes** (optional)

**Step 6:** Click **Schedule Appointment**.

**Step 7:** View the confirmation screen with appointment details.

**Step 8:** Add the event to your calendar:

* Click **Add to Google Calendar** for Google Calendar
* Click **Add to Other Calendar** to download an `.ics` file for Outlook, Apple Calendar, etc.

## After Booking

* You receive a **confirmation email** with appointment details
* If the event uses an **approval workflow**, your booking is **Pending** until the representative accepts or rejects it
* You receive a **reminder email** 1 day before and 2 hours before the appointment
