# Request a Meetup

A meetup request is a peer-to-peer booking between two attendees of the same event. The request is auto-confirmed without requiring approval.

## Prerequisites

* You must be a **registered representative** at another booth in the same event
* Have the **booking link** of the attendee you want to meet

## Steps

**Step 1:** Open the booking link of the attendee you want to meet.

**Step 2:** Select a representative from their booth.

**Step 3:** Pick a date and time slot.

**Step 4:** Fill in the booking form with your details.

**Step 5:** Click **Schedule Appointment**.

**Step 6:** View the confirmation screen — your request is **auto-confirmed**.

## What Happens Next

* Both you and the other attendee's representative receive a **confirmation email** immediately
* A **video meeting room** is created automatically (if the event uses video integration)
* The booking appears in both parties' appointment lists as **Confirmed**
* **Neither party can reject** a meetup request — it is final once submitted

## How to Join the Meeting

There are two ways to join:

1. **From the confirmation email** — Click the **Join** button to enter the meeting room
2. **From My Appointments** — Go to **Settings** → **Account Information** → **Open Meet Up** → **Confirmed** tab → click the meeting link
