# Attaching the ics calendar file to the Manual Email campaigns

An ics file enables recipients to save the event details outlined in your email directly to their own digital calendar. Whether they use Google Calendar, Outlook, iCalendar or another calendar service, recipients can simply click to download the ics file attached to your email and their calendar will automatically create an event.

### **How this can help an organiser?**

From an organizer's perspective, an ics file is an effective tool to combat "out of sight, out of mind" and reduce no-shows or last-minute cancellations from forgetful attendees. This simple enhancement can help increase registration and attendance at your events.

### **EventX Portal View (For Organizer)**

* Simply turn on the toggle inside the email campaign
