# Emails going into attendee's spam mailbox

## Emails going into attendee's spam mailbox

There are multiple reasons on why an email falls into the attendee's spam/junk mailbox. To know more regarding how your emails can be optimized, please refer to [this article.](https://help.eventx.io/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-avoid-emails-from-going-to-the-spam-folder#Example_of_good_reputation_Sender_Emailinvitemaileventxio)

## Remarks

In our findings, when using the same email subject and content:

1. If the recipient's email domain server is **gmail.com** or uses **Google Workspace Mail Server**, there is a very low chance that the email will be flagged as spam and land in their spam mailbox.
2. However, if the recipient's email domain server is **outlook.com** or uses **Microsoft Mail Server**, there is a higher likelihood of the email being marked as spam and ending up in their spam folder.
